Privacy notice

In short

• Only Carlos reads your idea. Our AI research tools see a rewritten brief without your name or email, with AI training turned off.
• Your idea stays yours. We'll never build or sell your idea, share it beyond the services that run Seedora, or compete with you on it.
• You stay in control. You can see, change or delete your details any time: delete your account, or write to hello@mail.seedora.ai.

Who is responsible

Seedora is run by Carl Peter Stanley ("Carlos"), a sole trader in the UK. He decides how your details are used.

What we collect

• From the form on seedora.ai: your first name, email, your idea, how you heard about us, and the boxes you tick.
• In the app: your email and first name; if you use Google, your Google account id, name and email; your idea answers, your answers to any questions Carlos asks you, your report, your reservation and your "what next?" choice.
• When you email us: your message.
• To keep things secure: sign-in records, a scrambled (hashed) form of your network address and email address for rate limits, kept up to 48 hours, and server logs that hold the page, the time and the result, never your name or email.

The form needs your first name, email, idea, how you heard about us and the two confirmations; without them we can't take your request. The rest is optional.

Why, and on what basis

• Contract: to prepare and send your report and run your account.
• Consent: update emails, only if you tick the box; analytics on seedora.ai, only if you allow it. You can withdraw it any time: reply to any email from us, or use "Analytics settings" at the foot of seedora.ai.
• Legitimate interests: keeping the service secure, answering your emails, and learning how people find us and what they choose next (how you heard about us, your reservation and your "what next?" choice).

Your idea stays yours

We'll never build or sell your idea, share it beyond the services that run Seedora, or compete with you on it. If it's close to an idea we're already working on, we'll tell you before we start, and you can withdraw it, and we'll delete it.

Your idea and AI

We research your idea with AI tools (Claude, by Anthropic, in the US). We first rewrite it as a short brief without your name, email or anything that identifies you, and paste only that.

We have turned AI training off on our account, though Anthropic may still use a chat it flags for a safety review. We delete the chats within 12 months.

No decision about you is made by a computer alone: Carlos reads and signs off every report.

Who else holds it

Only the services that run Seedora:

• Render: our host and database, in Frankfurt, Germany.
• Resend: sends our emails, US.
• Cloudflare: forwards your replies to us, outside the UK.
• Google: Sign in with Google, if you use it, and the mailbox your replies reach, outside the UK.
• Anthropic: the rewritten brief only.
• Google Analytics: visits to seedora.ai, only if you allow it.

We never sell or publish your details.

Outside the UK

• Render (Germany): covered by UK adequacy rules.
• Resend (US): standard contract clauses with the UK addendum.
• Cloudflare and Google: the UK-US data bridge or standard contract clauses.
• Anthropic (US): the brief only, under Anthropic's own terms: on our current plan Anthropic, not us, is responsible for how it keeps the brief. AI training is turned off.

How long we keep it

• Your account, idea and report: until you delete your account (on your Account page) or ask us. Deleting it also deletes your request from seedora.ai.
• If Carlos takes on your request before you sign in: we open your space for you, with your request in it. If you never sign in, it's deleted 12 months after your request. If it wasn't you who asked, tell us when you sign in and we'll delete it.
• Form requests and AI chats: up to 12 months, or sooner if you ask.
• Sign-in links: 15 minutes. Signed-in sessions: up to 90 days.
• Rate-limit records: up to 48 hours.
• Server logs: 7 days.
• Database backups: up to 7 days.
• Emails in our mailbox: up to 12 months.
• Our email provider's record of emails we sent you: 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or move your details, or object to or limit how we use them.

Reply to any email from us or write to hello@mail.seedora.ai; we answer within a month. You can complain to the ICO: ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113.

Age

Seedora is for people aged 18 or over.

Cookies

The app sets only the cookies it needs to sign you in. seedora.ai sets Google Analytics cookies only if you allow them.

Changes

We date every change, and email you if one affects you.
